Why do people get stupid
So i am minding my own business yesterday running around and I notice that there is a van in front of me trying to get across some lanes. I didn't think anything about it. When I looked at the plates they were from BC which makes sense. How many times have you been in a diffrent city and make a mistake or turned on a wrong way. Like some compassion is a great virtue to have. So the van with his signal light on starts to make his way accross the lane and he had his front end starting to go into the other lane. Instead of being a NORMAL person this lady decides to speed up from a dead stop and cut him off. Like what the hell and i think it is so funy how people get mad and won't let other people in (like a merge) like I honestly think that people are so concered about getting somewhere faster than being safe. Like Honestly if you let a car in and you are now 1 car length from where you were. Do you have any idea how much time is lost?? Matter of minutes. Like seriously i don't like being cut off eaither but in the same token i will cut anyone off if they are not letting me in. If i am in a merge and someone doesn't want to let me in i will force my way in because at the end of the day if you want to be an ass and hit me from behind because of this. We won't go through insurance..... I will sue the shit out of you just for shits and giggles!!! People need to calm down on the roads. Leave 10 Min early for anything you do or anywhere you need to be on time. Not it isn;t a big deal..... And one more thing on this whole traffic issue is for a day like this that it is snowed all night (1-2cm) thats it!!! and decide to head to work and get into a accident then i am sorry but there is no reason why people that have been driving in this city for a while and still don't know how to drive in winter?? Please i would like to introduce you to Nevada. it never snows and big open roads to go do stupid things on.
I was watchin the news this morning and there was a 60 -80 car pileup on deerfoot last night around 11pm. Like honestly! unless is was a skating rink then i think 60-80 people need to pack up there shit and move down south because they must have no clue where we live. It is Cold and it snows and thats why we have a think called winter tires... and no they still slide on ice. !!!!
I have seen so many accidents in the last 2 days and i have no idea why.... Like it is like everyone thinks that it is still summer out here... well it isn't and even take a look at the outside and see how cold it looks.. how icey it may be... and how many accidents you see on the way to work and think wow maybe it is slick out! until you are on your way home and see the yellow light and speed up to make it... Because it makes so much more diffrence if you get home 1 min late.
So to all the drives that may read this I ask you please slow down and take some caution when it comes to winter driving and for all the people that read this and don't understand please visit your closest travel agent and tell them you would like a one way tix to Nevada.

You know, its funny. I was reading this blog, and I agree with a lot of it. I say all the time that people are stupid on the roads. They cut in and out and they make driving pure hell for the rest of us who are patiently waiting at the back of the line of traffic. Problem is, they aren't the people getting in the accidents. It's people like me. Call me stupid, call me whatever you want, but that is why they are called accidents for a reason. It takes one person to miscalculate something for an accident to happen. It isn't something they chose. According to The Herald there was black ice on the Calf Robe bridge, so no matter how carefully someone was driving they still could have been in an accident. So are they all stupid? There are probably a number of vehicles involved that WERE driving too fast and WERE being unsafe, but a lot of them probably weren't. They were just driving the same road they drive every day, seeing the same sign warning that the bridge ices thinking 'I hope it isn't iced up tonight, and I hope I get home alive'.
I just figured I would give another side, from the perspective of an accident-prone person. So sign me up for Nevada!! ;)
